You do need a pair of stripey socks, Reva! The shoes are Dr. Scholl's believe it or not.About 5 years ago they put out a sexy cool line of shoes and boots, big wedges but suuuper comfy. I wish I would have bought several pair. I got these maryjanes and a pair of 4 inch wedge suede boots that I love. Have no idea why they discontinued the line.
