Sacramento Street Style at the Verge

Verge Center of Arts director Liv Moe lives for color. Her vintage scarf is Botany 500.
Since the premiere of Bill Cunningham New York is a fundraiser for the Verge Center of the Arts, I thought I'd swing by the Verge and capture some authentic street style as worn by these colorful Sacramento-based artists.

Artist Jose Luis Di Gregorio wears a art graphic T-shirt of artist Basquiat.
Original painting by artist Ianna Frisby
Roma Devanbu is wearing a dress she re-made from a larger Guatemalan muu-muu .
Note the milieu of artsy graphic T-shirts, colorful but comfortable clothing, and banging shoes, and bold, bold prints.
The lovely Ilah Rose works in mixed media, and in mixed patterns.

Trish Rhomberg is an artist and co-owner of Sacramento hipster magnet:        Bows and Arrows

Photographer/Assemblage Artist Natalie Head keeps it simple in basic black.

Nathan Cordero expresses himself in a silk-screen T-shirt of his own design.
Street Feet: Trisha's beloved vintage Easy Spirits. She only wears second-hand sourced clothing.

Amanda Cook creates Fiber Art re-using vintage fabrics.

Ianna Frisby explores fashion in various mediums- this is an embroidered example that took over 50 hours to create.
Here she is seen rocking green stripes and red hair and neon orange nail polish.

I really like the big post. It's cool to see everyday people doing their thing. I used to have very long hair, and seeing Ilah Rose makes me want to grow mine out all wild again.
